A Life Imprisoned at Home: Walls Close In
The boundaries of my home used to feel like a safe space. Now they smother, a constant indication of my restricted life. Days merge into one another, marked only by the chime of the clock and the heavy weight in my chest. Every whisper from outside is a cruel reminder of what I miss.
I wander through these unbearable rooms, hoping for some hint of escape. The beams that once danced across my floor now seem distant, and the stillness is deafening.

Surviving on Lockdown
Life as we knew it has drastically altered. The world outside our doors is a ghost of its former self. We are now trapped within the walls of our homes, forced to adapt to a new normal. The days run together, marked by the cycle of online meetings, binging media, and baking. We long for the simple pleasures that were once granted for granted: a stroll in the park, a cup of tea with friends, or even just a talk without a screen amidst us.
This new world has created challenges, but it has also exposed unexpected strengths within ourselves and our communities. We have learned to be more compassionate, more creative, and more appreciative for the little things in life. As we navigate this unknown territory, we must keep hopeful that brighter days are near.
Freedom's Six-Foot Line
Life behind bars is a harsh reality. Every day, you face restrictions that feel like an unbreakable wall. The world outside seems so near, yet it's separated by just a mere six feet.
Sometimes, the pressure of those bars feels insurmountable. You desire freedom with every fiber of your being. The constant ticking of time serves as a constant echo that you're confined.
But even in the darkest moments, there's a gleam of hope. A hope that one day, you'll step over those bars and finally be released. That day might seem uncertain, but it's a dream worth holding onto.
Freedom's Imprisonment
The allure of freedom can be a tempting force. Yet, paradoxically, it can even lead to confinement. This happens when the very notion of freedom becomes perverted, transforming into a weapon for control and domination.
True freedom entails not only the absence with external constraints but also the cultivation of internal spirit. When this inner foundation is lacking, even amidst a society that celebrates freedom, individuals home arrest can find themselves ensnared within the limitations of their own minds.
Consequently, the true measure of freedom lies in our ability to transcend the constraints that impede our potential, both externally and internally.
